Hello,

I am new to ISA. We have Windows 2003 web server in the DMZ. ISA 2000 server is also in DMZ. I want to allow IIS to access data from a SQL in the internal network through the ISA. Can somebody be able to guide me? Thanks

Zolla

You need to create a server publishing rule for SQL. If this ia a MS-SQL server then ports 1433 will need to be specified. You may need UDP as well as TCP. If your using a ODBC conenction ensure the Client library is set to TCP/IP and not named pipes. You'll also have to use SQL Authenication, otherwise you'll have to open up RPC ports (aviod if possible).

Hope this helps
