I am trying to connect my users to an external SQL server (in enterprise manager)
using a nonstandard port (4050 instead of 1433 for example). I set up a rule
to allow traffic in and out on this port but that does not work. the only
way I can get it to work is to allow all which I do not want to do. Any
ideas?
