We have a supplier who needs to have access to one PC on our network that they have installed. They need to connect using SSH (Port 22).

I have given them an external IP address and have set up a rule allowing SSH inbound access from External to the specific PC.

However they cannot access it. They say a Portscan shows that port 22 is not open.

Any suggestions?

Hi gavinmay,

assuming you have a NAT relationship between the internal and the external network, you have to server publish that PC. An access rule won't work.

So do you mean 'Publish Non-web server Protocols'?
