Hey Guys,

I've been doing some testing but I would like to confirm some findings.

Has anyone had any trouble with autodial and the SecureNAT client only configuration on the internal network?

In my testing, I configured the ISA Server to use the dial up entry in the "Firewall Chaining" tab in the "Network Configuration" dialog box. It worked for me fine, but some people have had problems with audodial.

If anyone is using just SecureNAT and autodial, please let me know if its working for you.

I'm actually using SecureNAT and autodial with ADSL.
First i had some problems that the clients (where only SecureNAT was configured -> only the gateway was added) did not correctly trigger the dial out. I used an internal DNS server as my first and only DNS Server.
After adding a second DNS Server(a "real" internet DNS server of my provider) in the client's configuration everything worked fine and the clients triggered the autodial correctly.

Hi Haldir,

Thanks! I appreciate your help with this. So it sounds like the queries your SecureNAT client sent to the Internet DNS server was able to initiate the autodial connection.
