Hi,

I have a ISA 2004 server with about 1300 users behind it. I'll be setting them to be secureNAT clients, but being as there's no way to authenticate, and also because of the need to use surfcontrol, then I'll be setting them to use the ISA 2k4 box as a web proxy aswell. This will give me the ability to filter the web traffic and also allow some apps to have the TCP/IP access that they want.

How do I allow access to the web proxy, without allowing access through the firewall? I need to use port 80 for the web proxy port. We've got alot of Mac's and we don't want to have to manually change the settings from the old ISA 200 box that we're currently using.

I've got about 50/50 Mac/windows user's. I'm migrating them from an old ISA 200 box to a new 2004 one.

Also, I've posted another problem in the web proxy forum, but not managed to get a responce yet, if anyone here would have any ideas on it please?

Hi Stu,

Configure the clients as Web proxy clients and they'll use the Web proxy Filter on the ISA firewall.
