Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help. I've inherited an ISA Server 2000 installation, and am trying to get Secure FTP working. More accurately, I'm trying to get Secure FTP AND standard FTP working ;) If I disable the FTP application filter, the secure ftp protocol definitions I've created seem to work fine. However, standard FTP breaks. I think it's possible to configure a set of rules to allow both, but I can't figure out how to make ISA 2000 do it. (To clarify here - it sounds like ISA 2004 would allow me to create a new protocol definition for the SFTP transactions, and tell ISA to not use the FTP Application Filter for it. 2000 doesn't have this). Please help!

Thanks, but that doesn't really help me, for two reasons: 1) I'm using ISA 2000, not 2004/2006. I know precisely how to do it in 2004 because I've already read that article :) 2) I've already got Secure FTP working - simply turn off the application filter and open up the right ports. The problem is, after doing that, normal FTP stops working until you turn the application filter back on. I know 2000 is a bit ancient now, but I'm hoping it's possible. Otherwise I've got to convince someone to upgrade...
