We have installed ISA 2004 firewall and configured the Access rule as per Microsoft Article "How to Use America Online 9.0 with ISA Server 2004" to access AOL.

After configuration, we are able to login to AOL and browse HTTP web sites from within AOL integrated browser, but HTTPs and FTP sites are not accessible.

In order to confirm whether this problem is related to PC where AOL is configured, PC was directly connected to Internet and confirmed that AOL is working fine for HTTP, HTTPs and FTP access.

You need to create rules to allow access to those protocols.
