Hello,

Can you please help on this questions ?

1. If i use Server Publishing to publish my Internal IIS Server do i need also to disable cache (On ISA 2004) in order to get all the hits on the IIS Log? Even the hits that maybe are returned from the ISA Cache ?

Will I need a no cache rule for the Internal IIS Server to get the all this hits to the log?

2. When i use Web Publishing although that i use a no cache rule for the internal IIS Server, it doesn't (on most situations) record the external IP of the users requesting the page. When i disable all the cache it seems to work and the page views from external users are rising in reports. But i am loosing the cache for all users.

Is this happening to everyone or i do something wrong ?

Thanks in advance !

TOM: No, because the custom protocol definition you created did not bind the Web Proxy filter. Server Publshing doesn't use the Web cache.

TOM: Just create a rule on the ISA firewall to never cache your Internal site.
HTH,
Tom
