Hi!

I have ISAS 2000 SP2 FP1 on Windows 2003 server. I have MS Exchange 5.5 SP4 and SMTP Gateway (filtering SPAM). My configuration is this: I have published on ISA that all incoming e-mail messages will pass thru SMTP Gateway then forwarding Exchange Box. Btw, all of this are located on a separate box. I notice that there are external users can relay message by telnet. I already configure my SMTP Gateway that only the Exchange server can relay message. Is it possible that ISA controls this?

Well-done it is good to use gateways ISA by itself can not control this as it is not function of ISA but rather of the server. Best idea would be to install an antispam software solution on the gateway or on the ISA server up to you, if you block SMTP then no mail will come in [Smile]

HTH if you still have issues let us know mail me and I will help and post the solution here [Smile]

regards

RM
