I kind of new to ISA, and I need to find out this one piece of info. Does ISA use NAT for traffic coming internal? In other words, if the external IP on your ISA is 120.10.10.1 (hypothetical), and you have a server inside the firewall with an IP of 10.10.10.5 which your publishing with an address of 12.10.10.12, and a user on the internet with an IP of 63.23.89.6 accesses your published server, will the address that your internal server sees be the users actual address, or does NAT kick in, and the server will see them as the address of the ISA box. In my case, the NAT solution seems to be what's happening, and it causes an issue for the app thet we're publishing. Is there any way to have the flow work diffently? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi bvautour, If you use Server Publishing Rules the internal server will be able to log the source IP address for the request. However, if you use Web Publishing Rules, the IP address of the internal interface of the ISA Server will always be used.
