With the ISA 2004 server set to use the firewall client and set to web proxy, is it possible to use a WSUS server without the firewall client installed on the server?
Thanks

I usually set WSUS as a SecureNat client, but if u do prefer to choose one between Firewall or Web Proxy client, the answer is YES, you can set the WSUS as a Web Proxy client.

Click on Options > Synchronization Options > under Proxy Server you can set the proxy , port , username and password.

HTH,
Tarek
