Is it fair to say that I will be able to consolidate my 3 firewalls servers into 1?
Basically I have an ISAPrivate for our company LAN connection to the internet (VPN and business type rules). Then a seperate ISAExternal which is for the DMZ (web servers) and another one again called ISAPrivate which firewall's our Database servers from the web servers in the DMZ.

Hi Mark,

It sounds like you're using threee ISA2000 boxes to handle the limitations of not enforcing firewall policy on all interfaces. If so, then you can consolidate the three servers.

Tom

Great news. Now I'll have an extra server to get redundancy (although we've been rock solid it would "feel" better to have it). Any good news to share about changes in load balancing/failover?

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,

With this edition, it'll still be a kludge to get things working correctly. The Enterprise version might have support for NLB, but I'm not sure about that.

Hi Mark,

I'm hoping to be there! If so, I'll either be given a talk, or manning the "ask the experts" section. Hopefully both!

See you in San Diego! [Smile]

Thanks!
Tom
