Hello there. This is a question from my home network. I've been playing around with ISA server on my ADSL connection...
1st off, is there anyway, with Win2k server, to make an ADSL connection a 'dialup' connection, like in XP?
I've found a little set of drivers that seems to work, by making Windows think it's an ISDN connection, but is there any other way?
2nd...
How do I publish a server behind my ISA when on Dialup? I have the LAT setup, so that the 192.168.0.x network is internal, except for 192.168.0.2 (which is the IP addy bound to the NIC the ADSL modem is attached to). When I try to add in a server, the real IP address from the PPP adapter never shows up in the list, nor if I type it in, does it accept it. Also, if it was working and the IP changed, would ISA change it automatically?
ISA is telling the connection to dial, I made sure of that by stopping RRAS, which I was using for NAT translations.
ANy idea why I can't seem to publish a server?
Thanks.
