HI,

We are thinking about upgrading to ISA and we will have 500 users possibly on at once...what kind of hardware req are we looking at?

MS has its recommendations in the Help file, but I'll give you mine based on our experience.

Of course, it depends on what ISA Services you'll be running on your server. But as a minimum for this number of users I would say a PIII 550 with 512 MB RAM and *no* other server services and all unnecessary services shut down.

The Web cache is kept in RAM now, and it would really like to put all of itself there. The processor speed requirements related to the number of rules to be processed and and the rate that new connection requests are made.
