I'm a total ISA newbie... how do I go about setting up my web site for FTP access from outside my LAN? All advice is welcome! Thanks!

Create an FTP Server Publishing Rule.

OK... remember I'm a newbie with this... I tried that, nothing happens, still can't access the ftp site. So, what do I need to do to set up the rule correctly, in case I did something wrong? Thanks!

Hi LisZ,

Couple of things to check:

1. Make sure the FTP server is configured as a SecureNAT clinet

2. Always test from an external network client, don't test from another machine on the internal network

Hi,

Point your default gateway on your NIC card to
the internal IP of the ISA server. I just did it
and I can now access my FTP site.
