In ISA 2000, if I wanted to setup port 4445 to be used with HTTPS, I had to:

1. Create a protocol definition. It was setup with Port Number 4445, Protocol is TCP and it was outbound.

2. I also had to run a regedit entry to add port 4445 to the the registry .

In ISA 2004, I have created a protocol definition for 4445 - defined just like above. Now how do I apply it to HTTPS? I tried to run the script and it didn't work, but I didn't expect it to with this version is ISA.

Any ideas?

Thanks

hi , gdsqx9

In Isa server 2004 , if you allow all outbound , you needn't define a protocol for this port ,it can work properly , I using it this time.
but for only allow this protocol , I think you need define a protocol, you can define port number 4445 and direction is outbound .At last , I think isa 2004 stored configuration is different to isa 2000 .

Thanks for the reply. I would like to know how you are doing it, I added the protocol definition and it is not working. I defined the protocol definition using port 4445, but how do I get ISA2004 to change the port from 443 on HTTPS to use port 4445?

It looks like you're trying to get SSL Tunneling to work, I had the same issue a few weeks ago. Here's a link to the thread:

And here's a link Tom provided for some new SSL scripts that Jim H. wrote:
