Hi,

I am in the process of setting up ISA 2006 Enterprise in my DMZ for OWA and Outlook anywhere. I want to setup to ISA 2k6 for failover reason. In addition, I don't want ISA talks to my DC because I don't think it is needed since it will only do proxy for Exchange 2k7. As I install it in the "workgroup" environment, ISA 2k6 telle me that I can not setup my second ISA 2k6 as the storage replica. I read the following article and it says:

"you cannot install more than one Configuration Storage server in a workgroup, so there will be no replicate Configuration Storage server."

That sounds a bit scary to me. If I only have one storage server (ISA 1) and it fails, does this mean ISA 2 won't be functioning since ISA storage server is not available?

anyone? or, do I "have to" join my ISA servers to my internal DC? I hate to do that because ISA will only do proxy for Exchange server outlook anywhere, etc.
