I'm having trouble getting SharePoint document uploads to work through ISA 2004. I know this subject has been addressed somewhat on this msg board, and I already unchecked the "verify normalization" box, and that eliminated the Error 500 page. Now my problem is this: I tell it to upload a document, the form comes up, I select my document, click "save and close" and it takes me back to the document library, just like it normally would, the only problem is my document isn't there; it never uploaded. Anyone have any ideas why this would be happening? I thought maybe I have to enable some FTP setting or something, but I'm just grasping at straws here. Help please.

Hi Secret,

Send me a note at tshinder@isaserver.org and I'll get you in contact with someone at Microsoft who is interested in helping you.

Is this issue still around? Is someone still interested? I am having this exact problem, only I know where the uploaded files are going. They are going into the parent folder of the document library. You can browse to it through My Network Places. But I need to know how to resolve the actual issue so that uploaded files go into the proper location.

I am using SSL Bridging to terminate SSL on the ISA server and communication from ISA to Sharepoint is over HTTP.

Thanks in advance.

I have a case open with Microsoft right now, but I do not have a lot of confidence. If anyone else is having this problem, could you reply with some information on your configuration? Perhaps I can relay the info to MS and it might help to find a common thread that would cause this issue.

Hey guys,

Stop breaking your security infrastructure with SSL to HTTP briding.

Deploy SSL to SSL bridging and I think your results, and your overall security posture, will be significatly improved.

As Tom says, SSL-to-SSL bridging is the only way to go due to Sharepoint architecture.

tshinder,

Right now that is all that MS can come up with as a solution. So at this point I am waiting for the SSL certificate to be reissued for installation on my published sharepoint server. I will repost after I get that installed and tested.

SSL to SSL was the solution. Once I stopped terminating HTTPS at the ISA box and had ISA pass the connection to the sharepoint box via HTTPS the problem was solved.

THanks everyone for the help.

Any thoughts on why http-ISA-http (no ssl) wouldn't work?

This is a test environment, and I'd like to crawl before I walk.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
