Hello,

Having some issues publishing a sharepoint website on ISA 06. Eventhough we have published the site according to MS documentation, all external traffic to the website is currently being blocked. If we create a non-publishing web site rule to allow port 80 traffic inbound to the website it works, but creating a published sharepoint rule does not. The external traffic (which is from our branch offices) for this website is all routed and not NAT'ed.  Does the external traffic need a NATing relationship with the isa insead of a routing relationship for the publishing rule to work?

Thx,

A route relationship is OK. However, you need to make sure that the name resolves to the IP address on the external interface of the ISA Firewall that's assigned to the Web Listener used by the Web Publishing Rule.

HTH,
Tom
