I have ISA 2006 publishing a Sharepoint 2003 site using Basic Authentication. All works well until someone clicks on a link that refers to a deleted item in a list.
Sharepoint returns a URL to the errorpage that contains the error message as a HTTP parameter; the complete URL looks like this:
https://mysite.de/Sales/_layouts/1031/error.aspx?ErrorText=Eintrag+nicht+vorhanden%0a%0aDie+gew%c3%a4hlte+Seite+verweist+auf+nicht+vorhandene+Inhalte.+M%c3%b6glicherweise+wurden+diese+von+einem+anderen+Benutzer+gel%c3%b6scht.+Klicken+Sie+auf+%22Homepage%22+am+oberen+Rand+der+Seite+um+zu+Ihrer+Website+zur%c3%bcckzugelangen.
When using this URL, the ISA server responds with a 401 error (in detail, it's "Error Code: 401 Unauthorized. The server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web server is denied. Contact the server administrator. (12209)").
My research has shown that an error text of "Eintrag+nicht+vorhanden%0a" passes ISA, while "Eintrag+nicht+vorhanden%0a%" (and any longer error text value) does not.

What do I have to change to let the above URL pass through the ISA publishing rule?
