Site-To-Site VPN & Static IP - 7.Apr.2004 4:10:00 PM

Hello,

How/where do I request a static IP when my ISA server is dialing out to the remote router?

I tried doing this manually in RRAS and it works fine, however, I dont think that that's the best way to do it because when I make changes in ISA2004 then it overwrites my changes in RRAS.

NOTE: I cannot set the "ASSIGN STATIC IP" on the user account on the remote router because i'm running in mixed-mode (win2003/win2000) so it doesnt allow that yet.

some help please!
thanks "[Smile]"

Hi ZD,

Don't know about this yet, but if you configure a static address pool, the ISA firewall always takes the first address.

HTH,
Tom
