Hi Guys,

We're looking at implementing a site to site VPN solution (over the Internet) using Cisco 878 Routers tunneling through to a central ISA Server (2007).

The connection will be SHDSL 2mb/2mb and 4mb/4mb respectively in the two branch sites running the Cisco 878 routers.

The ISA Server will also be acting as the proxy server for all outbound Internet activity from these two remote sites/locations.

I can only find information relating to configuring site to site vpn's with Cisco PIX firewalls and ISA, but not 878 routers...

Any ideas?

Cheers

Hi 50,
I think is quite hard to find articles for your specific router since Cisco has plenty of router models. I see you have two branches.
I don't know if this helps you but you can take a look:

Thanks for the link - much appreciated.
Now, I just need to work out how to run internal DHCP relay through to the clients sitting on the other end of the VPN from our central DHCP Server (which also happens to be the ISA Server).

50p.

Hi 50,
You want to use the DHCP server from the central office(which happens to be ISA) as the DHCP server for branch offices ?
If you ask me my answer is no, don't do that, no way. If the VPN tunnel is down then your machines from branches which use DHCP will be in trouble. Also there is an extra configuration which is not justified at all.
Just use the Cisco routers as DHCP servers if you do not have a spare machine on which to install a DHCP server.
Regards!
