Has anybody run into this?  When we go through the proxy we have trouble with certain sites.  For example, espn.com only partially loads and then stops.  When I turn off the proxy it loads completely.  99% of the sites are fine....It's just a select few.

In the Browser's Settings in the Advanced Tab you may need to enable "Use HTTP1.1 over Proxy connections.

A second thing is that sites that are eccessively bloated with scripting, some of the scripting will not be allowed to execute with the normal IE Security Settings,...this may be even more true with a IE that has had more Security Patches and is more up to date.  To over come that you may have to add the site  *.espn.com to the Trusted Sites Zone in IE.  Just remember to "uncheck" the HTTPS box or it won't accept your entry.

One other thing is with sites that depend on Java Applets (that is Applets, not simply Java Script) that depend on the Java JRE.  Most Applets are rather "unintelligent" when it comes to communication and depend on the JRE to know how to communicate.  The JRE is not so great at using a Proxy properly.  So the best thing to do is open the Java Tool in the Windows Control Panel and go to the Network section and disable and "proxy stuff" and tell the JRE to communicate Directly.  Then install the Firewall Client on the user's machine so it can run as a Firewall Client as well as a Web Proxy Client.  The Firewall Client software will then allow the JRE to function properly which then lets the Applets on the Web Site work properly,...which lets the Web Page load properly.
