I Currently have a watchguard firewall, which is also providing VPN access to our external users.

Initially I was looking to implement a caching proxy type solution and ISA was brought up and bought to fulfil this role.

I have since learned that ISA 2k4 is a very competent firewall in its own right by reading a lot of articles (I have seen many praising and none bemoaning ISA).

I am loathed to lose the watchguard box as it is running a couple of Branch office VPNs using Watchguard edge appliances which are managed by me centrally.

What I am looking at doing is using ISA in a proxy mode (at least for the short term) and ideally making all the VPN originated web traffic being proxied through ISA as my boss is kinda a control freak who has decided that if they are using our laptops then we should be able to see what they are doing with them.

I was wondering how the best way to implement this would be, I am a little confused as to whether single homed and multihomed would be the best solution for this.

I have a horrible feeling to accomplish this things could get overly complicated and was looking for advice, the only thing I cannot do is get rid of the WG box.

Thanks
