Hi,

My problem with downloading goes for all firewall clients as well as ISA 2004. When I try to download anything from the Internet, it takes a few minutes before I even get the download pop-up box. It downloads quick once I click on the save or run buttons.

What is the reason behind this dialogue box delay?

I tried allowing every protocol through the firewall policy rule, but that did not help. Thanks,

Sorry, I guess "Slow Downloads" is a misleading title. I meant the delay I get before I get the download box. This delay happens only when I download not when I am browsing webpages.

The bandwidth is fine. I can browse website quickly.

Thanks,

Hi Guys,

I did change the "EnablePMTUDiscovery" to enable, but I still get that delay. I also discovered that no computer can log into the Yahoo mail normally. Hotmail on the other hand is ok. I mean that I can get to the yahoo mail sign in page fine. I then sign into the new beta mail and it gives me half a blank page and this error:
An unexpected problem has occurred (There was no SOAP-ENV:Body in the sml payload sent by the server.).

On the other hand, I can log in fine into the old yahoo mail. I don't know if this error is linked to the download problem, but I hope there is an answer out there for this issue. Thanks

Hi Ace,

Do you have a downlevel firewall in front of the ISA Firewall, like a PIX or Sonicwall? Maybe those devices are causing the problem.

Tom

Actually, my ISA is directly connected to a very basic DSL modem. No other firewalls exist except for ISA.

In that case, it could be an MTU problem.

HTH,
Tom
