Having tested both the beta & full versions of ISA 2004, the only thing we are unhapy with is the speed of HTTP downloads. At present ISA is being used as a proxy server only, and we have tested streaming media, graphics-rich websites, FTP downloads & HTTP downloads from clients using a proxy and clients using direct internet access without a proxy.
The results for all apart from HTTP downloads were identical, regardless of whether or nor ISA was used as a proxy.
However, HTTP downloads are clocking in at a quarter of the speed when proxying via ISA. Obviously this is not acceptable, so does anyone have similar experiences or potential fixes?
We have tried this on three separate servers, and have seen exactly the same results even when running on a server with over 3GB RAM & dual processors.
