Hi,

I have a very strange situation. I have about 500 PC's (different type of machines). 25 of them (all the same) won't explore the internet correctly.

Motherboard: D815EEA2
Network: Intel Pro 100 VE Netwerk Adapter
256 MB RAM
Windows XP Pro + SP1
IP = 172.16.20.136
SMask= 255.255.0.0
No gateway

DNS = 172.16.1.1 (central server with DNS forwarding)

When i click the Internet Explorer i can surf very fast and good for about 1 minute. Then it gets slower and slower till i can't surf anymore.

What have i done to resolv it:

Update driver NIC
BIOS Flash
Installed SP2
Uninstalled all software

Now i have Windows XP + SP2 + Office XP (thats it!)

And i still have the same result. I changed to oure ADSL line without the ISA server and i could explore the internet without problems.

When i changed back to surf behind the ISA Firewall client i had the same story.

Funny thing is i don't have this problem on my other 475 PC's !

Any suggestions ??

i just started to download "Windows XP Service Pack 2 for IT professionals".

It's 266 MB big.

I download it at about 500 kB/sec. So nothing wrong with my download speed. But why is surfing the internet so slow? :/
