ISA 2004 Beta2 running on Win 2003. I am seeing very slow data transfers between the networks, connected via 100Mb/s cards and hub. When I check the ISA dashboard monitor, it shows at about 20 out of 100 on the Bytes/Sec chart. AFAIK I dont have any restrictions or limits set.
This is transferring via FTP and Netbios. My FTP client shows a transfer rate of 150Kb/s.
Thanks for any thoughts on this.
Matt

Hi Matt,
There may be some layer 2 issues here, 'cause I find ISA 2004 faster than ISA 2000 and I can get full bandwdith between networks.

I changed the hub out for a Cajun switch, running full duplex on the switch and nic's, still having the same problem. I can transfer full speed through the switch on the local network, but anything going through the ISA server still runs at around 100Kb/s.
Can the hardware be a problem? ISA is running on a Dell Poweredge 1300 P2 500mhz 256mb ram, win2k3.

Hi Matt,
Could be a problem with the NICs on the ISA box? I definitely see no slowdown on my ISA machines.

Hi Matt
I think Tom is right.
I had a similar problem with my win2k3 box
Imo i think it is the problem with SMB signing on the 2003 server - this ms tech article might help
Basically you go into the server GPO and disable SMB signing;
Digitally sign client communication (default = always) Digitally sign client communication (default = when possible) Digitally sign server communication (default = always) Digitally sign server communication (default = when possible)
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q810907
I hope this is the answer you are looking for
Good luck
