Hello, I'm trying to install ISA2006 and than configure VPN server on it. I installt on 2003 server with SP1. I have some problems conecting via VPN from XP client. I think the problem might be at instalation process. Here is the net structure I'm trying to do: Win2008(longhorn beta3) as a domain controller NIC settings are: IP 192.168.0.101, DG 192.168.0.1, DNS 192.168.0.101. Next is switch with IP 192.168.0.1 Netx 2003 with 2 NIC. First DHCP (from wireless router linksys WRT54GS) and the second one with static IP: 192.168.0.102, DG 192.168.0.1, DNS 192.168.0.101 At 2003 I install ISA2006. At the installation process I need to specify Internal network ranges to isa. I click add and select Adapter wih staic IP. But VPN client even if connect can't see network sharing folders. I also configured ISA Server to accept incoming VPN connections. I don't know what I.m doing wrong. Are the NIC's configuration fine? Maybe there is some step I missed on ISA configuration. And the 1 more question is where to add second NIC (this wich is connected to wrt54gs and to internet) so I can have internet acces? I would be gratefull for any advices. Thanks in advance.

Switches are layer two devices, so they don't have IP address. Routers and NAT devices are layer 3 devices, so they would have an IP address. HTH, Tom

Oh, you right. I forgot to mention (maybe this is a clue?), the switch I use is actually a router D-Link DI-604. I don't use WAN port on it, just two cables connected (one from win2k8 and one form win2k3). Is there a possibility that router does mess? thanks, bormic

The WAN port on the NAT device (this isn't actually a router since is can't actually route, it can only do NAT) should be connected to the Internet, and the LAN port should be connected to a switch that the ISA Firewall's external interface is connected to. HTH, Tom
