Most firewalls support static NAT. In the current version of ISA Server 2004 and unfortunaly also ISA Server 2006 you can only NAT behind the default/primary IP Address.

For example: you should be able to publish two mailservers to the internet wich each server has it's own public IP Address. The only option you have now is to create a perimeter network with public IP Addresses and enable 1:1 routing between your internet netwerk and the perimeter network. Then put your (seperate) mailservers into this DMZ, enable relaying.

Optional would be to the feature tot static NAT a specific subnet/range.

I hope the ISA Server development team puts this into the next Service Pack.

Hi Boudewijn ,

They're very aware of the problem and hopefully they'll get it fixed soon.

Thanks!
Tom
