Strange logs - 8.Aug.2005 10:35:00 AM
Guest
I have tried to analyze logs in ISA2004 server by my instruments, but the output is not good.

Here are some issues:

1 It seems that incoming and outgoing traffic are mixed (bytes received and bytes sent fields)

2 Even if I interchange those fields, the situation stays strange. I compared results with Tmeter (client counter). It seems that outgoing traffic is overstating

I use:

MS Windows 2003 server

MS ISA2004 server sp1

Logs format: MSDE

Please help!

Hi Vlad,

The traffic is correct. You have understand how the ISA firewall interprets inbound and outbound.

HTH,
Tom
