We have 2 ISA Firewalls running on DL380G5 wich build a VPN Tunnel through a 4Mbit SDSL connection.

NET1 <=> ISA1 <=> ISA2 <=> NET2

The Problem is i copy a file from a server in NET2 to a Server in NET1 the Performance is quiet bad 600-700 KBit. But if i copy a file from NET1 to NET2 everything is fine.

A direct copy between the two ISA Servers is also fine.

We did some testing with iperf, which shows a 30% lost of packages on the UDP test.

I already did the following:
-Auto Netgotioation changed from AUTO/AUTO to 100Full/100Full on both ISA Servers
-Disabled TOE on both ISA Servers
-Disabled TCP chimney on both ISA Servers
-Disabled RSS on both ISA Servers
-Installed Hotfix KB936594 on both ISA Servers
-Updated the NIC drivers to the last Version
-Updated the NIC firmware to the last Version

Make sure you use L2TP/IPsec for the site to site VPN tunnel, or PPTP. IPsec tunnel more has the worse performance.
