I'm getting many requests/questions from customers about ISA2004 support of SIP-based applications (do we support it, why not, when will it be supported etc).

Does anyone know the answer - apparently ISA2004 does not support SIP - so is there a work-around (yeah I know, bypass ISA.....) or are there any plans to support SIP in the next Service Pack?

Hi Steerpike,

I really depends on how each protocol is implemented. VoIP is not a unified protocol that works the same for each implementation. I have VoIP working fine from behind my ISA firewall, so YMMV -- test test test -- its the same for all firewalls, not just the ISA firewall.
