Hi All,

I have installed SurfControl web Filter and blocked few sites. this works fine when users are browsing thru IE, but when they use Firefox, site are accessible also it is not getting recoreded in real monitor.

Is anything I need to change in ISA 2004 configuration or SurfControl ?

Hi Sachinp,

Do you have any proxy settings in IE..???Try to set the same settings in Firefox.

any changes to the browser..???....

No way. SurfControl *is* a web proxy filter. Until your client become a web proxy client to the ISA server, SurfControl would not "see" its activity.

To make sure none of your client computers is able to bypass web proxy filters, just deny http protocol for snat clients.

Hi,

Yes...i found out...Thanks for the answer...

I have a related question to this forum..I have the following installation...

Windows 2003 SP1
ISA 2004 SP2
SurfControl 5.0
InterScan Webprotect 5.0 from Trend Micro...

Is there anybody how has same installation with success..???

Our server stopps responding at least one time every day...
