Hi all,

For anyone who worked and had experience with SurfControl 5.0 for ISA 2004 , does SC has the functionality to control the bandwidth and manage it for different groups.

That is , for example :

1 MB DSL Connection

i want :

IT AD Group to have 50 % of the bandwidth ( 50 % of the 1 MB DSL Connection )
Accounting AD Group to have 30 % of the bandwidth
Others to have 20 % .

Hey Tarek,

Surfcontrol does not have that function, however it does priority option for each rule that you create.
Other than that nothing else that will help you out in the bandwidth section.

currenlty looking into three products :

Bandwidth Splitter 1.02 features can be found on : http://www.bsplitter.com/features.aspx
TrafficQuota 2.0 features can be found on : http://www.digirain.com/tquota/index.html
SoftPerfect Bandwidth Manager 2.5 http://www.softperfect.com/products/bandwidth/

The first 2 software are extension programs for ISA, whereas SoftPerfect is not.

i will give a try for these software and check the results.

i have requested from the support in www.digirain.com to update their site and put screen shots for ISA 2004 of their product TrafficQuota 2.0 .

i found some screen shots but from a website i cant understand its language : http://www.iscg.pl/prod_digirain1.html
