Hi,

Ive got an ISA 2004 server with two NICs which both have seperate routeable internet IP addresses. I have Surfcontrols web filter for ISA installed and im trying to access the reports remotely. It uses tcp port 8888 which I have added a rule to the ISA server to allow in. However when I set live logging it says the protocol is unknown and blocks it even though I have added it as a custom protocol.

Any ideas, anyone else done this?

Cheers

Matt

Hi Matt,

What are the details of your protocol definition. I suspect that's the problem.

HTH,
Tom

Hi Tom,

I added it as 8888 inbound TCP and called it SurfReport. The rule that I have added this definition to is at the top of the rules.

Cheers

Matt
