Hi.
I have just installed the Symantec Endpoint Protection in my SBS 2003 R2 environment, successfully. I have installed a Remote Console in my laptop in order to have access to the Manager Console remotely both in my LAN and when I'm in the field through VPN.

Now when I try to connect to <SERVER>:port, from my laptop I get the following error msg: Failed to connect to the server. Verify that the server name and port are correct.

I think the problem is with the ISA Server 2004, because it is denying access to that port.

What is the correct and secure way to allow access to this Console in the ISA Server 2004?

If I�m not wrong the Symantec Endpoint Protection is using the 2638 port as default
You need to:
create a protocol definition for TCP port 2638Create an access rule from Internal to Local network using the previous protocol
Now is VPN controlled by ISA? If yes include the VPN network in FROM tab for the above access rule
