We have recently purchased Symantec Mail security for SMTP to protect against SPAM and viruses.
Our new setup is as follows:
1) Windows server 2003+ ISA 2004 + Exchange 2003 installed on SERVER 1
2) Symantec Mail security for SMTP installed on SERVER 2.

How do i configure Symantec Mail security for SMTP & ISA 2004 to accept/scan/block incoming from outside & outgoing mails from inside ?

All Mails should come in through SERVER 1 and go to SERVER 2 for scanning. If clean, they should be forwarded to SERVER 1 which homes exchange 2003.

Don't install Exchange on the FIREWALL.
