Anyone??? I'm trying to access my Terminal server from outside with packet filtering enabled and a rule configured for server publishing. I also made a new protocol defenition But I'm not able to connect to the Terminal server. I even don't get a entry in the logfile that a ip packet was blocked on the external interface. I really don't understand why I cannot connect. I even made a "allow" packet filter. on port 3389 A few weeks ago it worked fine, but now...... when I try the netstat -an command I see that the external interface is listening on port 3389 I hope somebody know's the answer Thnx Mike

Hi Mike, Disable the Terminal Server on the ISA Server itself. If you are using TSAC, make sure the Terminal Server is on the TSAC Web Site computer as well. If it is not on the TSAC computer, you need to publish the computer running Terminal Services. HTH, Tom ------------------ http://www.isaserver.org/shinder/ Get It Here!

It's very strange but, It's worked after I had turned on and off the packet filter option in Isa server. I't worked fine for a few days and today it happend again. I had to turn on/off the packet filter option. Now it seems to work fine again. Maybe I have to reinstall the ISA server? We have only one server here, so all the server software is on one computer. Thnx Mike HTH, Tom
