I have a test lab running on VMware with the following:

External PC
External router (Vyatta vir appliance) two interfaces
ISA server 2006 three interfaces (admin interface is #3)
Inernal router
Three internal subnets with
File server on subnet one
DC on subnet two
web server on subnet three

also have an interface on the ISA server with a foot in our corporate network to allow administrative access to the lab.

I am trying to allow RDP to the internal servers (DC, File, Web) through the admin interface on the ISA server but can't seem to get a rule to work.

I can RDP from the ISA server to the internal hosts, and I can RDP to the ISA server from the admin network.

Default route on the ISA server points to the test lab external router with persistant routes pointing to the correct default gateways for each interface.

how do I go about publishing RDP to the internal servers from the admin interface? I set up the correct server pub rules, pointing to the internal servers but every time I connect I get the ISA server console. Different IP address and even tried different ports on same IP.

I can provide a Visio of the set up if that would make it clear.

Do you have a network rule connecting the source and destination ISA Firewall Networks?

i figured out that that was my problem yesterday. I have been so used to setting up ISA with just two interfaces, i forgot to add the rule to allow from the third interface.
