installed and configured ISA server 2004 standard Edition for my small network, now I am able to access net and our internal network, but I am getting one problem with domain users. when I am joining normal system to domain network that time I am getting this error. Error: the following error occurred attempting to join the domain "Eserver.com" The RPC server is unavailable. note: this error is coming in only windows xp professional OS.

Hi, This problem has a hotfix that included in ISA SP. At least install ISA 2004 Service Pack 1 . Tarek.

After installing ISA server service pack 1 and 2 the sample Error I am getting, RPC server is unavailable; I am not able to join my client to domain network. Please any one help me in this regard.

note: this error is coming in only windows xp professional OS. this means you are able to join other machine that are not running xp to domain? you can try only for testing to disable the rpc filter on ISA. see if it works. also you may try: this no selection of "Enforce strict RPC compliance": http://www.microsoft.com/technet/isa/2004/plan/systempolicy.mspx#EIF also monitor ISA to see if ISA is blocking the joining phase and monitor you xp clients, the rpc service in xp on them. make sure this is running properly.
