Status: offline 		Has anybody seen this issue before? Whenever I apply a new firewall configuration, i'm prompted with this error below.

The Web filter [HTTP Filter] failed to reload the configuration. The failure is due to error: The application called an interface that was marshalled for a different thread.

I haven't seen that error. Can you provide some details of your configuration? Are there any add-on products installed?

yes... have you installed GFI web monitor? if so, be sure to upgrade to last version (on their site you can get the updated .dll)
