Hello.

I recently changed the modem box that gives me access to the internet, this box is the one connected to my external nic, evrything is working right (and was working right) but my thunderbird client is not allowing me to send mails which have documents attached, if I send the email with no attachments everything works fine.

I have not made any changes to isa configuration neither to thunderbird (everything was working fine until I changed the modem box). I have my web page hosted and also my mail is provided by them. We have made several tests (telnet, pings, tracert etc) and everything seems to point to something inside our network

The message I get is "This message could not be sent because connecting to SMTP server mail.qualitycleaningservices.com.mx failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your SMTP server settings is correct and try again."

I have a protocol rule that allows access to smtp and a scr that allows acces to my mail server provider. I am using firewall client on the pc running thunderbird.
The following is an extract of my firewall log when I try to send mail. ip 64.14.72.29 is my host provider.

At the same time I sent the mail and it fail my os (w2000 server) shows me this on my log event "ISA Server detected an all port scan attack from Internet Protocol (IP) address 64.14.72.29. " which doest not make sense eince this is my web hosting provider and they assure me there is no such thing coming from them.

Can anyone point me to the right spot to find an answer?

Thank you.
