Hello every body ,
I need some help to solve a problem in my ISA Server, currently we have an ISA Server firewall that protects all our main servers from the Internet, one of the protected server is a Web Server that host all our Web Sites and Application, we have defined many Web Publishing rules on the ISA Server to allow our users enter to the Web sites and Some ASP Web Applications, these days we have published a new application that copies a lot of data from an excel document to a SQL Server DB, this process takes from 7 to 10 minutes to complete and the users are receiving the following error msg from the ISA Server when they executes the ASP page that start the process:
------------------- Error Code 1460: timeout
Background: The gateway could not receive a timely response from the website you are trying to access, a DNS server, or another gateway server. This might indicate that the network is congested or that the website is experiencing technical difficulties. -------------------
We have increased the time-out property of the ASP page and the problem still there, I think that the ISA Server is sending the time-out message and not the ASP page because if we execute the ASP page from a workstation in the same network of the server (directly from the same LAN) the page takes some minutes processing and loads in the browser, but if we execute the ASP page from the Interner the time-out error msg appears, my question is: there is a way to change the time-out value for a Web Publishing rule? We need increase the time-out value for a specific Web pubishing rule and avoid the time out msg when the users executes the ASP page.
Thanks!

Yes the "HTTP keep alives" option is enabled for the entire web site.
