hello,

I have a isa 2006 as a proxy. this proxy does not have any rule of filtering of URL in place. I use just the function of chaining for a site interns particular.
recently my users have timeout (error 1460…)on hotmail at the time of the login.
this problem is only on hotmail.
sometimes that passes but navigation is very very slow

you have an idea how to solve this problem. that made 4 days that I work above without finding.

Don't use the firewall as a proxy for Hotmail.

Use Direct access through the firewall to hotmail.

I cannot, this solution is in a company with a special conf.
no exception is accepted on behalf of the data-processing direction.

moreover your answer is a little easy but do not answer the problem.
it is right a means of diverting to arrive at the site.
as I announce as I have this same Pb with ebay and of another commercial site

Not sure what the problem is here.

Just configure the firewall to use Direct Access, as described in article I've written on this site. Direct Access allows the clients to bypass the Web Proxy filter on the firewall.

I cannot send & open my mail in hotmail if the letter size of more than 70 KB .

I can open my email in outlook anysize, but i cannot open from Internet Explorer because size .

This report error in ISA 2004
Status: 1460 This operation returned because the timeout period expired

Timeout sounds like your Internet connection is too slow.
