As we are looking at a desktop refresh project this year, I have an opportunity to include the Microsoft Firewall Client on the deployed Vista image.  We have somewhere around 14,000 desktop/laptops deployed globally.

I have been using active directory group policy applied at a site level to switch IE proxy settings when users move between different sites and I need to change the proxy server settings.  I am not using any automatic discovery mechanisms currently.

I would like to hear any experience good or bad with a large scale deployment of the Microsoft firewall client.  I do have some users that require the firewall client for their applications but that number is a very small percentage of the overall population.

Thanks....
