Can anyone confirm if they have set up ISA Server 2000 as a transparent proxy? I've read about ways of manipulating the HTTP redirector in order to acheieve this goal, I haven't managed to get it working however.
machines use the Firewall Client to connect to the Internet, however, this luxury doesn't exist for *nix clients. I was hoping to set up ISA 2000 in transparent mode and use policy route-maps on the router to undertake interception caching by forwarding all HTTP requests to ISA, it would be pointless to attempt this configuration in the event that ISA cannot be setup to transparently forward HTTP requests. Another thought was to use the WCCP caching protocol at the router level, however, it appears that ISA does not support this feature.

Any help or assistance would be appreciated.
