Hello all,

I'm looking for a way to allow traffic over a NAT relationship.

Here's the scenario...front end hardware firewall back end ISA firewall

ISA -- source Int. NAT to Destination Ext.
External IP if ISA 10.x.x.x plugs into a switch

Internal hardware firewall interface IP 10.x.x.x also into the switch.

Life is good.

I would now like to do some authetication and logging to/from the hardware firewall from the internal network over ports 22,49,162 and 514 to/from different pc's/servers on the internal network and go through ISA...

Do I need to change to a route relationship or not?

Thanks

Hey Tom,

the hardware firewall is a cisco piece - need to connect via ssh tcp port 22 from a workstation through the ISA to the device. the device then authenticates the user to another server inside the domain via tcp port 49 - if its a valid account and password...your in.
