Hi All,

I am hoping you can help me out here.

We have several Hundred clients which have the 2000 client installed, all of these clients were part of an image when the machines were built.

I know you can't upgrade the clients from 2000 to 2004, and I don't think I can use a GPO to uninstall the 2000 clients (even though they were not originally deployed in that manner.

Any other ideas would be most welcome

D

Hi D,

If you used Group Policy software management, you should be able to uninstall the managed software from there.

HTH,
Tom

At the very least, you should be able to use a GPO startup (not logon) script to uninstall. Unlike logon scripts, startup scripts run with admin rights.
