Hello I have andn issue with some publishing rules on an SBS 2000 server with ISA 2000. I have changed the listening port on the main server to 5001 and added a packet filter for this. I can access the ISA server via RDP on the external IP okay using port 5001. I have also added a protocol defenition allowing 3389 port inbound and then added a server publishing rule using a virtual IP I have added to the ISA's external card for the external IP and the internal address of the machine I want to connect to internaly, adding the protocol defenition rule I created before. Ihave rebooted etc but get nothing when trying to connect to the IP from external. I can RDP internal to the machine I wish to connect to. The error is different to a normal failure in the way that it says that the machine is not accessible. Not setup for RDP etc..., so I think it is getting through somewhere but ISA is not quite right. Any ideas ???
